For many folks Autumn is the unofficial start of the holiday season. Apples, pumpkins, scarecrows, corn maze and hayrides are all around us. Lot’s of opportunity for a dog’s delight.
Fall leaves and orange colored lights decorate many windows and doors. Trees display their Autumn colors, yellow, red, orange and brown. Blue skies and a cooler breeze invite us forward to a new season.
You may even see a skeleton or two. And even a floating ghost hanging around may playfully appear. Black cats and witches on broomsticks pay their annual visits too in the neighborhood.
Everyone gets into the fun spirit even our pooch! Dogs everywhere join in to celebrate Oktoberfest. Chasing colorful leaves swirling in the breeze and running through a corn maze is a welcome adventure for a dog.
Apple pie, pumpkin pie, and sweet buttered corn, wonderful aromas fill the air. While I indulge in all these seasonal treats my best friend chases the hayride wagon on all fours.
Autumn is a marvelous time of the year to dress up your pooch! Maybe participate in an Oktoberfest celebration in full Autumn colors. And attend a Halloween party dressed up in a spooky costume.
Pet parents can create their own fun at home and get into the Autumn season spirit! Whether you have a backyard or not or you live in an apartment. Surround yourself and your dog in the comfort of your own home with seasonal delights.
