For some people, dogs are a reincarnation of divine beings, so they can bless humans. While there are those who find this belief ridiculous, some consider it to be so true that they pay respect to every doggo they encounter.
Doggo outside a temple
A video making the rounds online shows just how many people deem this belief true. In the video, a dog perched outside the doors of a temple greets devotees as they leave the place.
One devotee paid respect to the dog by bowing his head before it. And when the dog placed its paw on his head, the devotee was clearly so ecstatic that he even kissed the furball.
The video’s caption mentioned that the dog is a stray. But, by the looks of the video, the dog seemed to feel at home outside the temple. It seemed used to people greeting it as they leave the temple.
In fact, when a group of people who were leaving the temple stopped by in front of it, it patiently greeted the people by slowly placing its paw on the people’s hands one by one.
Positive effect of the belief
One person who posted a comment on the video said that the dog is obviously the reincarnation of a divine being. Other people who commented expressed concern about the dog, asking if the devotees even took the time to feed it.
Whether this belief has some merit to it or not, there is, at least, one positive effect of this video. After watching the video, people may now consider this belief to be true and eventually treat every dog they encounter nicely and even go so far as to feed every stray dog they can find.
Another positive effect is that some people may possibly think twice about hurting dogs. If you are wondering whether or not the belief is true, try watching the video to see if it should be believed or not.
