Fred, Ethel, and Ricky were once loved and cherished by their owner. But everything changed when their dad passed away without notice.
Everything went downhill for them when the new homeowners arrived and decided to discard them. But instead of calling a rescue center for help, they threw them out on the streets.
They were use to the pampered and spoiled life, they struggled as each day passed by. For 18 months, they wandered around the streets, fending for themselves. Until such time, they learned to loath any human interaction.
So when Hope For Paws was called to save them, it was a rescue like none other. The rescuers had to deal with something that was beyond their brave façade.
The first one they had to deal with was Fred. They found him outside their previous owner’s house.
The poor dog was very elusive and terrified. But with swift hands and gentle coaxing, the rescuers were able to capture him.
When they received intel that the other two dogs were in a nearby mini-mall searching for food, they rushed to the area. They searched for them for a couple of minutes until they stumbled upon them in a parking lot.
It’s safe to say that Ethel was quite timid while Ricky was a bit calm but attentive because when they captured Ethel, Ricky perked up and approached the struggling dog. A moment later, they also caught Ricky.
These three dogs longed for affection and human attention, and now, they are finally getting what they hoped for so long! When they lost something, they also gained everything.
Once fed and taken care of, they went into their foster homes with The ARK Animal Rescue. Not long after, all three of them found their respective forever families!
They may not be in one home, but nothing can beat the power of getting love and attention. All the best to you, three adorable and resilient dogs!
