Charlee and Yuma are a pair of golden retrievers that are inseparable. They’re best friends and they love spending time with one another.
Darcy Michael owns Yuma while Darcy’s mom owns Charlee. The two dogs meet every few weeks and they have a blast each time they see each other.
It’s like all they want is to hang out and to get dirty by playing outside. However, Charlee has a problem. She doesn’t like to get wet, so she’s not able to retrieve sticks that fall into the water. Yuma’s a good friend though, so she gets the sticks for her.
How Yuma helps Charlee out
When they spend time indoors, Yuma acts very differently. Inside, she hoards all of the dog toys for herself and she doesn’t share any with Charlee. Things are different once they play outside though. Yuma knows that Charlee gets really stressed out when she’s not able to retrieve stuff floating on the water.
Whenever Charlee sees a stick or a toy floating on the water, she ends up standing on the bank and staring at it longingly. It’s obvious that she’s desperate to get it. Yuma then swims out and gives the stick or toy to Charlee. It is super sweet and adorable, particularly since Charlee normally doesn’t share.
Charlee and Yuma
According to Darcy, Yuma is an alpha dog. So it really surprised him when Yuma kept on helping Charlee out. Yuma jumps into the water with no hesitation whenever Charlee whines and looks sad. It seems that Yuma wants her best friend to have as much fun as she does whenever they play outside.
It’s clear that Yuma really loves Charlee. Darcy says that every time he sees his dogs play together like this, he can’t help but think that people really don’t deserve dogs. We should cherish and treasure our dogs because they are some of the most loving creatures on earth.
