Jamie and Rob Osborn first met Max when they rescued him from negligent owners. Max used to live outside the house and his previous owners never took him out for walks. Fortunately, Jamie and Rob are kinder. They showered their new dog with love and affection and they taught Max to be more sociable.
Max now spends his days with Jamie and Rob in Australia. Max’s new hobbies include cuddling with his owners and swimming at the beach. Rob and Jamie like to kayak sometimes and Max likes to swim alongside them. So Rob and Jamie got their Staffordshire terrier/bulldog mix a cute life jacket to help him swim better.
Saving a boy caught by the current
Max loves spending time with his owners on the beach and he loves swimming. However, something went wrong during their swimming trip last January. A young boy suddenly got caught in the current and he wasn’t able to escape. The boy panicked so much that he started swimming against the current, making the situation worse.
Rob saw that the boy was in trouble so he called out to Max for help. The brave dog responded even though he didn’t have any rescue training. Somehow Max knew what he had to do. He swam over to the panicking boy, let him grab his life jacket, and then fought against the current while towing the boy back towards the beach.
Max the lifeguard
People called Max a hero for his brave actions. Particularly because he helped another child soon after. According to his owner, Max also saved a young girl who had a hard time swimming. Max is a really brave dog and he deserves lots of treats and affection.
Max’s story shows the profound effect of love and affection. He used to be a wary dog that didn’t like people. But Jamie and Rob’s steadfast love changed him for the better. Max is now a hero.
